About the school

Our Vision at Daniel Hale Williams Preparatory School of Medicine is to create an institution that will become a part of the medical school pipeline addressing the attrition of underrepresented minority medical school student applicants. It is also our vision that all students will develop lifelong habits of mind such as responsibility, accountability, discipline, collaboration, continuous inquiry and a determination to succeed. Our mission at Daniel Hale Williams Preparatory School of Medicine is to involve all students in rigorous and engaging coursework that prepares them for college; assisting all students in becoming critical thinkers in reading, writing and problem-solving, while creating a professional learning community of students, parents, teachers and administrators.
